OpenStudy (alivejeremy):

y = x^2 is the equation of a parabola here y = x^2 -1

OpenStudy (alivejeremy):

my friend told me tht

OpenStudy (ray1998):

Okay, I see. :) do you apply each of the answers to that formula?

OpenStudy (alivejeremy):

yea

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Look at the bottom of the parabola to see it's location on the y axis. This is the clue to finding your answer.

OpenStudy (ray1998):

So it would be D? @mthompson440

OpenStudy (ray1998):

Thank you :)
