Help? Will give fan and medal :) Max makes and sells posters. The function p(x) = -10x^2 + 200x - 250, graphed below, indicates how much profit he makes in a month if he sells the posters for 20 - x dollars each.
@Ray1998 Where's the graph, and what's the question?
I'm good with functions. :)
I'm posting it now!
A. $800 at $10 per poster B. $800 at $5 per poster C. $750 at $10 per poster D. $750 at $5 per poster
@Ray1998 Okay, I'm gonna have to turn on my brain for this. Give me 1-2 minutes please.
The maximum profit is where the graph hits its highest point. The profit will be the y value at this point, and the price he should sell the posters for will be 20 minus the x value at this point. Does this help?
@Alphabet_Sam I believe the answer would be c then, correct?
Okay, thank you for taking a look at this for me guys :)
Yes! Very much so, @Alphabet_Sam
@Ray1998 Well now I feel useless. :( lol
C was the answer I got :) Good job team!
