Based on the Latin root "flux" as it is used in "influx," which statement best tells the meaning of the underlined word in the paragraph?
There was an outflux of tenants from our apartment building. That should be a good clue to the owners that they need to make changes. It is time they do something about the heating and plumbing problems.
the underlined word is outflux
A. the tenants are making repairs at the apartment building B. the tenants are moving out of the apartment building C. the tenants are moving into the apartment building D. the tenants are complaining about the apartment building

It's B for sure. I Googled the word. Here's the definition it gave: "the act of flowing out; outflow (opposed to influx ). 2. a place of flowing out; outlet. Origin of outflux Expand." Outflow as in moving out. So B.
oh ok thx
