I know by default that A can't be right
OpenStudy (solomonzelman):
yes very good, because the area of "A" is greater than area of "B"

OpenStudy (solomonzelman):
The area of the whole triangle is?
The area of region "A" is?
(you can find this by finding region "B" and subtracting that from the area of the entire triangle, or split "A" into a rectangle and triangle...)
OpenStudy (anonymous):
area = 70
area of A = 52.5?
OpenStudy (solomonzelman):
Area of "B" = 7•5÷2=17.5
Area of "A" = 70 - 17.5 = 52.5
Yes, very good!
OpenStudy (solomonzelman):
Now, what is the probability that a randomly selected point is going to be in region "A"?
(knowing that (1) whole triangle = 70, (2) Region "A" =52.5)
OpenStudy (anonymous):
75%?
