value of x ON x axis means y =0, if y =0, what do you have from the original one? $x-2y \geq4$

just replace y by 0 and find the value of x.

take the equation x-2y=4 [ because u need the point on the x-axis]
 
any point which lie on x-axis ,it's y-coordinate is always zero
so,substitute  y=0 in the equation
x -2*0 =4
x=4
