Merry Christmas everyone :D FAST! someone tell me what is the best way to solve these 2 equations. Please explain every single step :D
\[6x ^{2}-11x+4=0\]
@Hero @KendrickLamar2014 @Mehek14 You have a Qh Question :D
use the quadratic formula
Can we use the A/c formula as well @triciaal
you can factor use 8 and 3 for the factors of 24
Oh ok :D So what do we do after that?
factor using (2x ) ( 3x ) you are waiting for th eanswer tobe given I think try factoring starting with those terms fro x...
use desmos and see the graph point where it cuts x axis is the root just see and note it down
what is the second equation?
Wait you guys are confusing me now. We get 8*3 what do we do after this...
Several methods of solution of quadratic equations have been mentioned so far: 1) graphing 2) factoring 3) quadratic formula It'd be well for us to concentrate on one at a time. jagr2713: which of these is most familiar to you?
no to factor or to use the a/c method a is 6 and c is 4 a*c is 24 factors of 24 that add up to b use -8 and -3 now rewrite the original and "split" b then group and factor each of the 2 groups take out the common factor
I just need it factored :D
It cant be -8 and -3. Because 8 is the largest so 8 is negative and 3 is positive right @triciaal
