Rudy watched a movie about aliens who never stop growing. Every alien is 93 centimeters tall at birth and grows exactly 17 centimeters each year. Let y represent the number of years since birth and h represent the alien's height in centimeters. Solve for h How would you write an equation for this?

OpenStudy (astrophysics):

So lets say the initial height is 93 cm and we know each year the alien grows 17 cm where y is the year. So y = 1 is year 1, y = 2 is year 2, etc. And the total height h is what we're looking for, so any idea how we can model this?

OpenStudy (astrophysics):

When the alien is born we can the initial height \(h_0\) is \[h_0 = 93 cm\] h would then be \[h = h_0 + ...?\]
