Dear OpenStudy,

In the short time that I have been on this wonderful site, I have come to know all of you as amazing people, each unique in your own way. I joined OpenStudy in late October, and it's hard to believe two months have gone by so fast. I have quite enjoyed consecutively helping students with homework, and inveresely, learning a plethora of information from them. However, one of the greatest discoveries I ever made was this warm, kind, and enthusiastic community.
Today is Christmas, for me, but some of you may be celebrating Hanukkah, or Kwanzaa. In my Christmas countdown giveaway, I gave away 10 OwlBucks every day to somone entirely new. I just want to say congratulations again to every winner, and use them wisely.

In celebration of the Holidays and the closing of a great year, this is a letter to every OpenStudier. I want to you all to know how much you guys mean to me. Even if you are not directly mentioned in this letter, know that this letter addresses each and every one of you.

I want to start off by addressing the hard-working people who make OpenStudy great: the moderators.

It saddens me to how much rebuttal the moderators receive when, truly, they are doing a favor to all of us. Suspensions are supposed to be part of the learning experience. Making a mistake and having no consequences leads to making the same mistake, and that’s what I think you all should comprehend next time you receive a warning or suspension.Once again, I love every single mod, but these five, I have come to know as friends for their kind, sweet, and friendly nature.

@jigglypuff314 ~ Jiggly, you will always be my favorite pokemod. You always do what's right, and making you a moderator was one of the best decisions OpenStudy made. Thank you for listening to my annoying complaints, and enduring my MANY questions and pms. ;) Stay awesome <3

@Whitemonsterbunny17 ~ Bunny, you're kind and sweet, and also one of the best mods here. Just like Jiggly, you actually listen to my PMs, and have always taken action when necessary. You're not biased, you're certainly not mean, and you will also, like Jiggly, remain one of my favorite people on OpenStudy. <3

@tkhunny ~ Tk, out of all the mods, you have to deal with the most nastiness. Why? Because you have the OpenStudy Code of Conduct memorized? It's ridiculous. You take moderating very seriously, and keep OpenStudy safe for younger audiences. Why should you be criticized for that?!? Also, you're very kind and knowledgable, and I truly hope that these qualities do not continue to go unnoticed.

@AravindG ~ Aravind, you're a great person and a chessmaster. B) When I suggested the OpenStudy chess section, you were one of the first people to back it. Thanks to your help, we created the super awesome OpenStudy Chess Club! :D

@Compassionate ~ Stephen, you do an amazing job of moderating, and you're extremely hard-working. You even took over as leader of the Ambassador team when the previous leader went inactive. Thank you for working hard to improve OpenStudy. :)

Next, I would like to address the warm, welcoming people we know as the Ambassadors. (and Global Interns!)

The Ambassadors are the role models of OpenStudy, and they sure are people to look up to. The following are some Ambassadors who I've also grown quite fond of.

@pooja195 ~ Pooja, you're one of my closest friends on OS. We've worked together on many projects, and you're incredibly kind, sweet, outgoing and very easy to work with. Oh, by the way, next year, when I mention you in this letter again, you're going to be up there with the moderators. ;)

@TheSmartOne ~ TSO BB <333u hav so much swegggggg BBB) I am sooooooooooooooo jelly of how kewl u is. ;(((( They shud call yew thecoolone (BBB I am proud TSO luver ;))) I luh yew TSO bb!!!!!!!!!!

@Jaynator495 ~ Jay, you've made some mistakes, but we've put it behind us. Regardless of your past, you are now a helpful and honest person, and you've changed your ways. Confessing your mistakes took guts. Now, I hope we can all move on and see Jay for who he really is, an intelligent young mind with bright ideas.

Last, but certainly not least, I want to address the ordinary users, like me.

Oh, there is so much I could write about so many people on this card. However, I'm going to limit myself to writing about 10 people, and I'll keep my messages brief. Once again, if you are not mentioned in this letter, it may be I accidentally forgot you (I did write this in a rush. :/) or just that I don't know you that well. Please, feel free to shoot me a PM if you want to get to know each other better. :)

@Alexandervonhumboldt2 ~ Alex, Sasha, Shurik, Shark, you are another one of my close friends on OS. My chess mentor and OS supporter. ;)

@imqwerty ~ All "bae" jokes aside, qwerty, you're truly a hilarious, fun, and kind OpenStudier. It is a pleasure to be around you.

@dan815 ~ Dan, together, with your help, we were able to build the OCC. You definitely deserve a mention for that. ;) (btw when is the next tournament?)
