@princesssleelee : Perhaps I can help you with the problem you posted an hour ago. I'd suggest that you sketch a graph initially showing the 2 given points through which the parabola goes. They are (-1,0) and (0,1).

Please note that "turning point" means "vertex" in this context. Thus, the vertex of this parabola is located at (-1,0).
