@domm: OpenStudy is divided up into subject matter discussions. You and I are currently in the Mathematics section. There is a History section, which would be more appropriate as a place to post your question. Look at the upper left-hand corder of the OpenStudy page. Just to the right of "open study" is a menu which for you probably says "Mathematics." Click on that menu and then on "History."

Have you tried looking up "The founder of Sikhism?" Doing that may turn out to be the fastest way to find out which religions were his primary influences.
