Which word from the paragraph best helps the reader understand the meaning of the underlined word?

Every summer we camp by the lake with my aunts, uncles, and cousins. We have the best time. But what I enjoy most is sitting around the campfire with everyone eating s’mores while Uncle Benny tells us one yarn after another. Some of his stories are so hilarious my sides hurt from laughing so much. But some of his other ones make the hair stand up on the back of my neck. They’re downright scary!

I would say it is A. Stories, because all you do is substitute each word in for yarn. Then you will see what perfectly fits! :)

I definitely would pick A because the other words such as hilarious, campfire, and another essentially don't go with yarn. Yarn is a completely allowed English slang type word that usually is talking about story telling or similar things.
