I also think it's false. When I read a work of literature I put my believes and opinions through a test. Whether I agree with the author or not, it is still my opinion, and it is still a famous, widely recognized work. People should never set aside their opinions. However, people can change their opinions and sometimes even beliefs. For example, I have changed my opinion on books when I started reading them. I used to hate reading, now I love it. I spend a lot of my free time reading world literature from Shakespeare to Rick Riordan.
