please help @Nnesha
Nnesha (nnesha):
y-intercept is a point where line intersect the y-axis when x=0
slope = rise over run ( from the y-intercept )
so you have to count how many unit is rising from y-intercept
and if the line is decreasing the slope would be negative
and if the line is increasing the slope would be positive
OpenStudy (isuckatschool43):
?

what's the slope intercept form ?
OpenStudy (isuckatschool43):
how do i find that
Nnesha (nnesha):
well do you know the slope intercept form ?
it should be n ur notes :=))
Nnesha (nnesha):
like Ax+By=C is the general form of a line what would be the slope intercept form ?
OpenStudy (isuckatschool43):
not really

Nnesha (nnesha):
y=mx+b is slope intercept form
where m is slope and b is y-intercept
now look at the graph what would be the y-intercept ?
replace letter b with that number
OpenStudy (isuckatschool43):
i have no idea im awful at math im sorry
Nnesha (nnesha):
well...you have to learn it
hmm y-intercept is a point where line intersect the y-axis when x=0|dw:1451279994247:dw|
