Hey guys, I am having trouble downloading python 2.5.4 on my mac. Every time I try, I receive error messages. Please I need help

2.5.4 is so old that it may not install on El Capitain. The differences between 2.5.4 and 2.7, which is already installed on your Mac are negligible. As long as it's Python v2.x, I wouldn't worry.

I'm using El Capitain and had the same issue. I went ahead and installed 2.7 and haven't had any problems with it

Thanks guys. I installed 2.7 instead of 2.5.4 and it works great.
