OpenStudy (james1769):

i think 1 is c and 2 is a

OpenStudy (anonymous):

you sure?

OpenStudy (james1769):

i think they are right but just look the questions up on google to be sure

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I've tried couldn't find anything xD

OpenStudy (james1769):

really thats odd

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yeah

OpenStudy (james1769):

well if they dont wrk dont medal me

OpenStudy (anonymous):

For the first one i think it's A For the second one i think it's C I am sure they are correct

OpenStudy (welshfella):

For the first one , since you cant have a zero in the denominator (x - 2) one of the asymptotes is x = 2, because that value of x makes the denominator zero.

OpenStudy (welshfella):

As for the horizontal asymptots when x gets really really big the 3/(x -2) tehnds to zero and the whole expression tends to y = 1

OpenStudy (welshfella):

So the correct answer to the first problem is A.

OpenStudy (welshfella):

Second option the transformation f(x) ---> f(x + 5) moves the graph 5 places to the left so C is the correct option

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok ty

OpenStudy (abhisar):
