Yes, the interior angles add up to 180 degrees.
Imagine a triangle with a really really really big angle, say 179.9 degrees.

If you add up the shorter sides, they must be shorter than the longest side.

@zepdrix what if the lengths of the two sides are 12 and 13 ft . Would the range for the 3rd side just be anything over 25
