I'd strongly suggest that you graph the two given points, name them A and B as indicated, and then draw a line segment connecting them. You could 'eyeball' the drawing and make a quite good estimate regarding the coordinates of point P. AP is apparently only 1/3 rd as long as is PB. Let x = length of AP; then the length of PB is 3x. Find the distance between A and B; divide that by (3+1), or 4, to obtain the length of AP. What is the length of PB?
