Okay, anytime you are doing an English question its verrry important to read it outloud to see what sounds best. Trust me, this will gain you more A's then exasperation because if your like me I over analyze every question I get and sometimes its as simple as reading it outloud and grasping the answer from there.
So in this case, lets sound ALL of these out.

Common sense shows the stupidity of that one. When someone thinks something, they think it. They don't think about thinking it!! (not unless they came from mars...)
