OpenStudy (testing123guest):

plz help i will much appreciate it and i will medal you and all that

OpenStudy (testing123guest):

OpenStudy (celinegirl):

im sorta sure its C but one sec and i'll put an explanation to it

OpenStudy (testing123guest):

thx i am going to tag a few people to help @Agl202 @ganeshie8 @ikram002p @inkyvoyd @IrishBoy123 @just_one_last_goodbye @mathmale @Mehek14 @Nnesha @pooja195 @Vocaloid @welshfella

OpenStudy (celinegirl):

Ok (:

Vocaloid (vocaloid):

you just want to calculate the slope for each choice what's the slope of 6x - 7y = 21?

OpenStudy (just_one_last_goodbye):

YOU!!!

OpenStudy (just_one_last_goodbye):

TAG ME WITH OTHER PEOPLE D:

OpenStudy (just_one_last_goodbye):

im special.... you tag me with my own comment :)

OpenStudy (just_one_last_goodbye):

@just_one_last_goodbye

OpenStudy (testing123guest):

lol is the slope -7

Vocaloid (vocaloid):

not quite start by subtracting 6x from each side

OpenStudy (testing123guest):

i am not sure i am not that good at mth

OpenStudy (testing123guest):

*math*

OpenStudy (testing123guest):

hello

OpenStudy (testing123guest):

what was the answer

OpenStudy (mathmale):

You've GOT TO do some work to understand this question and to arrive at the correct answer. "rate of change" means the same as "slope of the line" in this context. Find the slope in all four cases. Then, rank the slopes in increasing order, from smallest to largest. What is the answer? You tell us.

OpenStudy (boldjon):

XD

OpenStudy (mathmale):

Please share with the rest of us any calculations that you do. We can give you better feedback that way.

OpenStudy (boldjon):

wow, just wow

OpenStudy (boldjon):

well the answer is

OpenStudy (testing123guest):

6x−7y=21 Step 1: Add -6x to both sides. 6x−7y+−6x=21+−6x −7y=−6x+21 Step 2: Divide both sides by -7. \[\frac{ -7y }{ -7 } = \frac{ -6x+21 }{ -7 }\] Answer: y=\[\frac{ 6 }{ 7 }\]x−3 ----------------------------------------------------------- thats for choice a

OpenStudy (testing123guest):

*answer= y = 6/7x -3

OpenStudy (testing123guest):

so choice *A* right

OpenStudy (mathmale):

Please, would you find the slope for all four cases and then pick the largest? I don't see that you have four slopes to compare as of yet.

OpenStudy (testing123guest):

i cant.. that is why i posted the question i need help god i just want fast and good help

OpenStudy (welshfella):

we've established that the slope for option A is 6/7 Now its quite easy to find the slope of B one general form of the equation of straight line is y = mx + b where m = the slope of the line B is y = 2x - 2 so what is the value of 'm' for this equation - commpare it with y = mx + b
