I have never been great at writing formula's, and I don't understand what its supposed to mean by properties and I'm also confused on what instruction (C says.

Ok first thing we divide that figure into two known shapes: half a circle and a rectangle.
Can you find the area of each one ?

Alright, well we know that the rectangle is 4 inches and I have to find the area of that.
That involves multiplying the length times the width, but problem is I see no width. I just see the length which is labaled 4
