Fan & medal PLEASE help. Come up with a new linear function that has a slope that falls in the range −< < 1 0 m . Choose two different initial values. For this new linear function, what happens to the function’s values after many iterations? Are the function’s values getting close to a particular number in each case?
I have no idea how to do this, someone please help...
What is this supposed to be? "-< < 1 0 m"
Oh sorry, I'll post a picture
linear functions have the form \(f(x) = mx + b\) where \(m\) is the slope and \(b\) is the y-intercept. This question is just saying that your slope has to be between -1 and 0. For ease you can make \(b=0\) so the function can be \(f(x)=mx\) Does any of that look familiar?
Okay so that's the linear function I need to create?
