The fuel tank of a certain airplane can hold up to 300 gallons of fuel. Let W be the total weight of the airplane (in pounds). Let F be the total amount of fuel in its tank (in gallons). Suppose that W = 6F + 4000 gives W as a function of F. Identify the correct description of the values in both the domain and range of the function. Then, for each, choose the most appropriate set of values.

Please help if you can @cal.lavender

OpenStudy (cal.lavender):

Is it related to graphs?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no its more trying to find the domain and range

OpenStudy (cal.lavender):

which book, chapter? can you provide me with an example question?

OpenStudy (tkhunny):

Perhaps the question is confusing. If asked in a different context, I am confident you would tell me that 0 < F < 300 without much hesitation.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

if you have 300 gallons of fuel w is the airpllane and f is the total amount of fuel then. W=6f then you find that 4000 is w so 6X4000 could be the answer let me check again real fast

yah I got It mixed up a bit sorry
