Well, in order to tell wether a table of values is representative of a function, it has to fundamentally obey the very definition of "function". Do you know the definition of function?

It's not c. Functions are special because each input value is paired with a specific output value. C does not establish this because it only states that "some" of the input values are equal to the output values. If it had said all, then it would be correct. For instance, C would be satisfied by the set of ordered pairs: (0,0) (1,2) (1,3) (1,4) This is not a function, but it satisfies answer C.
