What impact has the war had on life in the colonies? I will medal and fan!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The revolutionary war

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Well, think about it. Most colonial resources and manpower had to be dedicated to the war to help America prevail. If you have a colony, but you run low on supplies, what do you think your issues will be? The proper homes, you may face diseases that can't be attended to right away, you're going to stand in a poor economical state because of the lack of money due to the war. There are going to be numerous effects to this war. Is this the type of answer you're looking for?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yes, thank you! Do you mind helping with another history question? @HelperJaje

OpenStudy (anonymous):

If it's something I can help with, absolutely not! What's up? @rainbowswirl

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Does that mean yes? @HelperJaje

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Absolutely! @rainbowswirl

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Its about Central America @HelperJaje

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Alright! What's the question?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Explain the advantages and disadvantages you discovered for interdependence. Include examples from the past and present of interdependence in Central America. @HelperJaje

OpenStudy (anonymous):

"Interdependence is the mutual reliance between two or more groups. In relationships, interdependence is the degree to which members of the group are mutually dependent on the others." Now, to put this into perspective, think of the military. Without everybody doing their jobs properly, how could things get done? Now, this question you'll have to help out on a little bit because I haven't dealt with Central America for quite some time. So here's where we begin: If interdependence means 2 or more people helping each other to obtain a goal, what are some positive things that have been obtained in Central America through this process?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Im confused @HelperJaje

OpenStudy (anonymous):

No problem! So, let's put it in simple terms. Interdependence = 2+ people helping each other to survive or obtain a goal In a country, this could be something such as: Coming together to create laws to help the society, coming together and developing relations with other countries to help survive, or even something as simple as two political parties joining sides to help pass a specific law to help the country. So: In Central America, what is an example of a group of people relying on each other to help obtain something good?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Um...is it a communist? @HelperJaje

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Well, here's the first part. The benefit of interdependence is that you have multiple countries or many groups of people coming together to help better lifestyle for everybody. The downside is easy, as well. The downside to interdependence is sometimes not everybody will pull through in time. For an example: On a group project, everybody needs to work together. However, there are cases where your partners don't do their share on time or don't do it at all. This is bad because the interdependence harms everybody doing the project. Now you need to find an example in South America that shows how working together has helped them. Then you need to find an example in South America that shows how interdependence has harmed or created issues for them.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Im confused on how to put it together for an answer :( @HelperJaje

OpenStudy (anonymous):

No problem! Interdependence is good because it helps better lifestyles by having people depend on each other. (Enter example from South America) Interdependence is negative because sometimes people don't always do their portion. (Enter example from South America)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Thanks! Can you help with 2 more?? :) @HelperJaje

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@HelperJaje ^

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Not a problem! What are they?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Explain the advantages and disadvantages of independence. Include examples from the past and present of independence in Central America. @HelperJaje

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Independence is an advantage because your country answers only to itself as far as politically. The country doesn't have to rely on other countries for political or economical laws, rules, and structures. They get to govern themselves in the path of what's best for the people. (include South American example) The downside is that you don't have the other countries that are part of the same network, creating an indefinite alliance. You must form your own alliances and properly upkeep your worldly political relations. This can be challenging for some countries with political morals that may be considered, "Politically and morally corrupt." (enter South American example)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

What else can I help you with?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Which event caused the US to enforce an embargo on Cuba? @HelperJaje

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Its multiple choice ^^ @HelperJaje

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The US put and enforced an embargo on Cuba due to when Cuba had nuclear missiles pointed at the US. This was part of the Cuban Missile Crisis.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Thank You!! :) @HelperJaje
