OpenStudy (kaleidoscopicsink):

The position of a particle on the x-axis at time t, t > 0, is s(t) = ln(t) with t measured in seconds and s(t) measured in feet. What is the average velocity of the particle for 1 ≤ t ≤ e?

OpenStudy (boldjon):

"average velocity" is same as "average rate of change"

OpenStudy (kaleidoscopicsink):

I just don't know what the derivative of ln(t) is. I',m not sure if it's e or e-1

OpenStudy (kaleidoscopicsink):

OH, 1/x. My mistake.
