Can someone help me with this https://www.dropbox.com/s/8vmdlk066z7hm1x/Screenshot%202015-12-31%2015.26.04.png?dl=0

OpenStudy (mkapad01):

ok i'll try helping you with this problem

OpenStudy (boldjon):

k thanks

OpenStudy (mkapad01):

so domain refers to the x values and we can see from the graph that it is all real numbers. Also, all parabolas' domains are all real numbers

OpenStudy (mkapad01):

therefore the first one has to be true

OpenStudy (mkapad01):

but if you wanted to check the range, refering to y-values, we see from the graph that the y-values start from -4 and continues up to infinity

OpenStudy (boldjon):

wait so it's real number when the lines passes on precise coordinates (without decimals)

OpenStudy (mkapad01):

well a real number is any number that basically exists

OpenStudy (mkapad01):

any number that can exist on a graph that does not include imaginary numbers

OpenStudy (mkapad01):

whether the number is terminating or not...it is a real number

OpenStudy (mkapad01):

you don't need to know imaginary numbers just yet...but if you're curious you could research on it :) good luck!
