PLEASE CHECK MY ANSWER! :) Write an equation of a line that passes through the point (7, 3) and is parallel to the line y = negative 2 over 3x + 3. y = 3 over 2x − 3 y = 3 over 2x + 3 y = negative 2 over 3x + 23 over 3<--my choice y = negative 2 over 3x − 23 over 3

do you know how to find the slope of a line?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yoou are correct

It helps to actually graph both equations on the same x-y plane. Visualizing the equations can show where any mistakes were made.

yeah, use desmos if you are taking algebra 2 or any math class for that matter

wait.. so my answer was wrong?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no cutie

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Your answer is correct. But in order to check it on say a test when you can't access any extra help, graph your equation using the same x-coordinates.

ohhh ok haha thank you guys :)

ur welcome

No problem darling :)
