Think of a short phrase to describe it. Condense the phrase into one word. For example, if you are currently staring at the wall, hoping that you can think of a word for this assignment, perhaps you could say that you are staroping.

A portmanteau word is a word that is two words combined. For example, if you have read "Alice Through the Looking Glass," Humpty Dumpty says frumious. Frumious comes from fuming and furious. So if I am answering a question and sipping coffee, I am ansipping. I hope this helps
