This program helps talented 6th graders from the New York City area apply to top independent high schools and then apply to the nation's most prestigious colleges... If you need internships or community service or simply help in creating your resume for jobs when you are done in college, they help you do all of that!

The admissions process is highly selective and competitive as it is worth 6 months long and they only accept 30 students!

If you can say a confident yes to all of these, then you are eligible to apply!

Be enrolled in sixth grade at the time of their application

Attend a public or parochial school in one of the five boroughs of NYC and be a NYC resident

Earn 90% or above in all classes

Have obtained a 3 or 4 on the 5th-grade ELA and Math New York State Test and/or scored in the 90th percentile on other standardized tests taken in the 5th grade

Come from families with financial need

Provide proof of academic merit and family income

Be citizens or permanent residents of the United States

Must have strong attendance and punctuality records

If you know of any sixth graders, encourage them to apply. Or if you know a fifth grader who will be a sixth grader in the 2016-2017 school year, then tell them about this :)

If there are no 12 year olds, then if anyone knows about a 12 year old who they think will benefit from this organization it will be good to tell them about this.

Seeing as how this is a 13+ site and any known to be younger than that are suspended plus the fact that the majority of the people on this site are lazy and are most likely teenagers, yeah...may not be the best place to advertise this.
