unless your sample is a randomised sample of the population then the survey results are meaningless. This survey knows nothing about the respondents - and 'self-selecting' reponses are notoriously unreliable.

Not sure what you are looking for hhere - but you need to research survey techniques and methodology if you are expecting any sensible data

I suggest YOU tell them - and ask him to teach you about 'sample bias' and how it affects the validity of this type of survey

crappy attitude - this is a chance to learn about how to interpret your own data and more importantly data which is presented to you in surveys through your life. MOST are severely flawed in the way the collect and analyse data - but serious decisions are taken on the basis of the flawed analysis

Well, I took it, but @MrNood is right. This is a horrible way to take a sample. First off, it is a convenience sample and then there are sooooo many sources of error- response bias, undercoverage, and it is voluntary response.
