Hello everyone, I am stuck in this question. It is about electricity stuff, resistance and resistivity, you can check the homework out here: https://www.scribd.com/doc/294496419/Electricity-Worksheet I made the question 1 correctly with no problems at all :D, im happy about that - BUT, when it comes to the question 2, it looks simple and all but I don't get the same answer as he put. (my teacher has put the answers already, he just wants the HOW did I get to it.). I tried to do the question and failed it seems: https://www.scribd.com/doc/294496628/Physics-HW Thank you.
hint: we vave to compute the cross sectional area \(S\) of the wire, using the Ohm's law: \[\Large \Delta V = \rho \frac{L}{S}I\] there \(\Delta V\) is the maximum voltage drop
namely: \[\Delta V = 240 - 230=10\;volts\]
One thing that you may have to assume is that their will be two wires to the source, giving L (length) a value of 30 meters. (Assuming single phase source.)
