Which answer offers the best explanation for why Tecumseh fought alongside the British in the War of 1812? Tecumseh was well paid by British generals. Tecumseh wanted to preserve trade with Britain. Tecumseh considered the United States to be an enemy. Tecumseh felt his homeland was more secure with the United States.
