OpenStudy (mathstudent55):

Normally, you need to solve a system of equations to find its solutions. In this case, you have 4 sets of solutions and 4 systems of equations that you need to match. All you need to do is take a set of solutions, and try it in each system until it works. Then you know that solution is matched to that system. Then keep on going until you test each set of solutions.

OpenStudy (decarr432):

Okay thanks buddy

OpenStudy (mathstudent55):

Remember that for a solution to work in a system of equations, it needs to work in both equations. That means that if a solution does not work in one of the equations of a system, you can eliminate that solution from that system, and move on to the next system.

OpenStudy (decarr432):

Alright I'll make sure to do it

OpenStudy (mathstudent55):

Great.
