Find a slope of each line. a. A line that is parallel to the to the graph of y=1/2 X+7 b. a line that is perpendicular to the graph of y= -2x -3.

parallel lines have the same slope, so just write one that has the same slope as the one you mentioned. Any y-intercept value works. perpendicular lines have opposite -reciprocal slope. so if your slope is -2, the opposite reciprocal would be 1/2. (Opposite of -2 is 2, reciprocal of 2 is 1/2) In both cases, the y-intercept value does not matter. You can put anything. The slopes are wha matter.
