You may want to re-draw these triangles, to show clearly that you have a 45-45-90 triange on the right and a 30-60-90 triangle on the left. Both triangles are easily solved.

The given drawing is usable, but the fact that it's "not to scale" can pose a challenge. What do you know about a 45-45-90 triangle? It's equilateral. What does that mean?
