I have to write a letter for the National Juniors Honor Society and I have no idea how to even start. I am supposed to write a letter describing how I plan to uphold the values and beliefs held by the NJHS, and I should also include reasons why I believe I would be a good candidate for this society. Please help, I am terrible and writing and don't know how to start this!

You could start your letter like this it like this:
  My name is (your name) and I am writing you ( the reason for writing)  
 and then you could put  I believe I would be a good candidate for the society because.......
and after you write that this is where you can put how you plan to uphold the values an beliefs of the National Juniors Honor Society. For example: I plan to uphold the values and beliefs by.............

 This is how I would write it if it was my letter.
