On a weather map, isobars that _____ indicate strong winds. A. are far apart B. are part of a loop C. are close together D. cross one another
Do you have any ideas? The close spacing of pressure isobars would mean there is a steep pressure gradient of air. This is similar to the gradient lines on a contour map; the closer the lines are together, the steeper the gradient of the land.
no not rlly:(
It's okay, meteorology can be tough. When the isobars, or lines on a weather map are close together it means that there is s big change in pressure. When there is a big change in pressure, that causes a thunderstorm.
