Which sentence uses the word you’re correctly? I always see you’re mother at the bookstore. Is it you’re mother who wrote that book about chimpanzees? It looks like you’re a pretty good writer yourself.

OpenStudy (malaya):

The third one

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thanks:)

OpenStudy (malaya):

You're is like a short term for you are so replace it with that and see it makes more sense but no problem !

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thanks:)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Just remember this: You're actually means You are, so just instead of saying you'r, try saying you are and see which one makes sense.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So it would be "It looks like you're a good writer yourself"

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It is the third one, "You're" is the shorter way of saying "You are", keep that in mind. For example, "You're very talented" is like saying "You are very talented". "Your" is a way of talking about you, or something that may be yours. For example "Your report card is amazing".
