please help

OpenStudy (4everaddicted2anime):

To find the slope you need to do \[m=\\[m=\frac{ y _{2}-y _{1} }{ x _{2}-x _{1} }\]] Just plug in the two coordinates you have \[m=\frac{ 5-2 }{ 2-1 }\]

OpenStudy (4everaddicted2anime):

What did you get for slope?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

m=3

OpenStudy (4everaddicted2anime):

Good job. Now plug in what you got for slope into the equation to get y=3x+b Use one of the coordinates to find the value of b \[2=3*1+b\]

OpenStudy (4everaddicted2anime):

^this is for part b

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i got it thank you

OpenStudy (4everaddicted2anime):

your welcome
