What transport process is pictured? A. exocytosis B. cotransport C. osmosis D. diffusion

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (somy):

what do u think?

OpenStudy (neonumbrella5115):

You can rule out some choices. Like D as diffusion happens without a carrier protein. Also, you can rule out exocytosis as that is when material is brought outside the cell. Does that help?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

cotransport?

OpenStudy (neonumbrella5115):

Cotransport is where two substances at once are transported. Does that look like what's happening in the photo?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

No, so osmosis?

OpenStudy (neonumbrella5115):

I would say that two different things are being transported. So I would go with cotransport!
