I used a trick to know which equations are wrong.

But if we want to figure out the equation we would write
Dan put m marbles , each weight 9.4 oz into his bag
the marbles will weigh 9.4m (i.e. 9.4 times m)
plus the weight of the bag of 2 oz

9.4m+2

Jamie has 11.2m + 1
and we add them together

9.4m+2 + 11.2m+1
we get
20.6m+3
