The answer I got was 11.08.

OpenStudy (shaleiah):

\[\frac{ 5+\sqrt{245} }{ 2 }\]

OpenStudy (shaleiah):

Did I solve this wrong?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[h=\frac{ -5\pm \sqrt{5^2-4*1*-270} }{ 2*1 }=\frac{ -5\pm \sqrt{25+1080} }{ 2 }\] \[h=\frac{ -5\pm \sqrt{1105} }{ 2 }=\frac{ -5+33.24 }{ 2 }=\frac{ 28.24 }{ 2 }=14.12\] (taking positive sign only)

OpenStudy (shaleiah):

Thanks, I understand now.
