help me please. what is the value of x in this diagram?
|dw:1452009038709:dw|
A: 17 B: 15 C: 105 D: 68
First of all, solve for y because 4y + 112 = 180 The side opposite to 4y will be the same value.. So then just solve for x :P
i think i need step by step help if you dont mind. :)
Okay, sorry. So to solve for y, you just use the equation I gave you above which is 4y + 112 = 180. So subtract 112 from 180 which is 68.. You divide 68 by 4 which is 17, so y = 17! Now just multiply 4 by 17 which is 68 .. Now look below.. V|dw:1452009749131:dw|
so since you have 180 + 68 which is 248, so subtract 248 from 360 and you get 112 (WHAT A SURPRISE RIGHT?) It turns out to be the same as its' opposite angle.. Solve for x now.. 7x + 7 = 112 Subtract 7 from both sides.. Which is 105, then divide by 7 What is 105 divided by 7? :)
15 and omg thank you so much. i wish i could do more than fan and medal. that helped a lot
