Atsie (atsie):

My mind is sooo blank right now. Please someone help me. What else can I put about photosynthesis. Its vital that I have a 150 word response otherwise I lose a lot of my grade. (attachment in comments)

Atsie (atsie):

@AlexandervonHumboldt2 Could you help me?

Atsie (atsie):

@Death47

Atsie (atsie):

@nincompoop Could you help me maybe?

Atsie (atsie):

@AihberKhan Can you maybe help me or direct me to someone who could? I'd appreciate it immensely!

OpenStudy (aihberkhan):

Okay let me try to help! One moment! :) @Atsie

OpenStudy (aihberkhan):

To start off, the chemical equation of photosynthesis is \(6CO2+6H2O→C6H12O6+6O2\)

OpenStudy (aihberkhan):

Photosynthesis is a process with multiple steps that are mandatory to be completed perfectly. Photosynthesis is a process that must be completed with perfection, or else something is ought to go wrong. Anyways... photosynthesis requires three main things, which include, sunlight, carbon dioxide, and water.

OpenStudy (aihberkhan):

After the process is complete and all the steps have been gone through one by one with perfection... it releases oxygen and produces simple carbohydrate molecules. These can then be converted into glucose, sucrose, and other types of sugar molecules, which you probably already know.

OpenStudy (aihberkhan):

Looking at the sugar molecules, they contain covalent bonds. By definition... a covalent bond is, "A type of chemical bond where two atoms are connected to each other by the sharing of two or more electrons." If you are answering these types of questions, that you have probably heard of a covalent bond and an ionic bond. Continuing with these molecules, they store lots of energy in which organisms can later break down, and release the energy to use in other cellular work. In this case... work means, "A measure of energy expended by moving an object, usually considered to be force times distance. No work is done if the object does not move."

OpenStudy (aihberkhan):

Are you following so far? @Atsie

Atsie (atsie):

You heavensent soul! All that is precisely what I needed!

OpenStudy (aihberkhan):

Haha! No problem! Also, this might be too many words but I am sure you can break it down into simpler and shorter words. I am going to give you some more information, before I go that I think is very important for you to know. Okay? @Atsie

Atsie (atsie):

Sure, that is perfectly fine with me! :)

OpenStudy (aihberkhan):

Awesome! :) So... looking at the photosynthesis chemical equation, the energy from sunlight is mandatory to start the reaction of photosynthesis! Without it... you won't even be able to start the process. So that's it! Hope I helped! You can check out this picture that I will attach for a better understanding with the equation

OpenStudy (aihberkhan):

Hope this helped! Have a great day and Happy New Years! :) A medal would also be appreciated! Just click best response next to my name! Also, a fan would be appreciated as well! Just hover over my icon and click "Become A Fan". This will allow you to see every time I am online! :) If you see that I am online and need help with a question, just tag me in your question! @Atsie

OpenStudy (aihberkhan):

Are you good with everything? :) @Atsie

Atsie (atsie):

I am already a fan of yours and have already medaled you, so no worries! And all of this works for me most definitely! Thank you very very much! And Happy New Years to you as well! :)))

OpenStudy (aihberkhan):

Great! You Too!! Great work today! :) @Atsie

Atsie (atsie):

Thanks!
