i don't because usually with something like this argument you would be on the stronger side when you're defending/protecting arts because after all it is the foundation of our futures creativity

you could try arguing that most of the arts are something that you can follow in your own time (ex : music lessons, drawing classes, etc) whereas things like math, science, etc are much harder to self-teach or to follow on your own time?

You can also argue that the arts are not necessary for a job, whereas mathematics and science are essential for many important jobs.
