Would you say one could become to self-reliant?

Too self-reliant?
I suppose this could be possible, in a way. While it is good to be self-reliant, there are some things that are better done with help from another. For instance, say you're coping with the death of a loved one. Sure, to have self-reliance in a situation like this is a good thing, but you also need to confide within the comfort of others to help aid the coping process.
