Need help please :c The hydra has an incomplete digestive system. How does the hydra remove undigested food? A. It expels food by using a special opening for that purpose. B. It pulls food out with its tentacles. C. It diffuses food through its outer layer. D. It pushes out food through an opening, which is also used to bring in food. My guess is D because I read from an article and they said, "Undigested food is passed out of the cells into the gut cavity and from there to the outside through the mouth. " (http://www.daviddarling.info/encyclopedia/H/Hydra.html)

OpenStudy (wilsondanielle):

It is D. Hydras only have the one opening, therefore both consumption and excretion must take place in the same place.
