That's okay neither do I. I'm an online schooler who sleeps during the day because my parents work nights. My brother would be offended by that, but I am not a big fan of fast food. Did the teacher just say "Make a subvertisement." Or was there a rubric for it?

these were my instructions:
Decide upon an ad. Think about what kinds of ads really annoy you. Which ads are truly ridiculous to you? Fast food advertisements? Cigarette advertisements? Cologne advertisements? This is the fun part. Use an Internet search engine to explore real ads or just pick up a magazine and flip through the pages until you find THE ONE. And you will know it when you find. This is the ad that you could really have fun with. This is the ad that just makes you chuckle at the possibilities. This is the ad that will become your subvertisement.
Really study the ad. Who is the intended audience? What is the message for that audience? For example, on the previous page, the ad you saw was intended to motivate young men to smoke, and the message was that if you smoke, you will be as suave and as dashing as these cowboys. Write this information down. It will help you when you go to create your subvertisement.
Think about what you really know about the product. For example, you know that cigarettes don't really turn you into a handsome cowboy. You know about the dangers of smoking. Write all of this down. This will help you when you go into the original ad to add the reality- where these two meet is where the humor happens.
Just like we did on the previous page, put the reality into the image. Now is the time where you can go into the ad to manipulate the words or image to poke fun of the original ad. When you're done, you have created your subvertisement.

The cost, you can use that against them as well. Or use the idea of fast food against them health wise.
