I;m having tROouble with coumpound inequalities!!!

alones (alones):

15 ≥ -3x or x ≥ -2 :/

alones (alones):

@Agl202 help meh!!!

OpenStudy (agl202):

You need help solving?

alones (alones):

yea i need you kow the steps :/ i don't even know how to start

alones (alones):

@Agl202 what are tryin to do

OpenStudy (agl202):

Ye, wait

alones (alones):

okayii

OpenStudy (agl202):

These are the steps for the equation, 15 ≥ -3x : 15 ≥ -3x 15 ÷ 3 ≥ x (you do the inverse operation cause you move it to the other side) 5 ≥ x or x ≤ 5 For x ≥ -2 the steps are : x ≥ -2 x ≤ - 2 (re-writing the inequality in reverse because of the negative sign)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[15\ge-3x~or~-3x \le15,x \ge \frac{ 15 }{ -3 },x \ge -5\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

when we divide or multiply by a negative quantity enequality changes.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[x \ge -2\] and \[x \ge -5\] combining the two \[x \ge -2\] |dw:1452106604126:dw|
