Now I can help with this! Easy pickens! cast a fossil that is a solid copy of an organism’s shape, formed when minerals seep into a mold (Keep in mind most people mistaken and confuse cast and mold!) mold a type of fossil that is a hollow area in sediment in the shape of an organism or part of an organism petrified fossil a fossil in which minerals replace all or part of an organism Amber fossil A living organism that is trapped in a clear sticky sap substance (So F) Imprint fossil Hence the name, it shows print of something, sort of like trace fossils! (So C) Trace fossil Shows trace of something, like footprints trails, etc, LIKE imprint. Difference: One (imprint) Fills up the footprint. However, not the trace, it doesn't fill the print up. (So A) - Definitions from my beloved Connexus acad, and some just from my basic knowledge. I left out some parts for you to fill in. It won't take much brain power since I just given you the definitions. Toodles my fellow brainy!
